Angola and Japan discuss co-operation in transports sector (24/05/07)

 

Angolan Transports minister, André Luís Brandão left Wednesday for Japan to discuss with authorities of that Asian country about co-operation in the transports sector, under the existing bilateral ties.

 
 
Speaking to the media at "4 de Fevereiro" International Airport, the minister said that this collaboration will be mainly based on marine transport and the harbour area.

According to Luís Brandão, the bilateral interest in this sector was expressed in January 2001, during the visit of the Angolan Head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos, to Japan.
