Sarova unveils new package for domestic market (03/11/06)

 

A leading hotel chain has unveiled a unique value-added package tailored to increase the number of domestic tourists.

 
 
Sarova Hotels has introduced a value-for-money package dubbed "Sarova Holidays", aimed at stimulating the domestic leisure market.

"Sarova Holidays is the first of its kind offered in the Kenyan market and is a year round product, a deviation from the traditional price-based discounted packages usually offered in the low season", said Sarova Hotels communications manager, Ms Nancy Imunde.

Imunde said the offer would also encourage the domestic traveller to enjoy the diverse tourist attractions located in the bush, beach and city environments, by introducing customer-centric products.

She said the package would offer amazing value for money with add-ons for the family segment as well as couples.

Imunde said a customer would enjoy accommodation on half-board basis, 10 per cent off Tulia treatments, buccaneer diving and 10 per cent discount on food and beverage under the "Tropical Retreat" at Sarova Whitesands Beach Resort.

"City Breaks offers a real treat for all to enjoy at The Sarova Stanley and Sarova Panafric, where guests can be pampered to their delight, she said.

"There is also a 10 per cent discount offered at Sarova Mara Game Camp on entry fees on balloon safaris and to the Isokon Maasai Cultural Village. Sarova, Imunde said, remains the market leader with innovative, environmental and customer-friendly products that give a refreshing new meaning to domestic tourism.
