Sudan: $5.8 million grant from Japan to be signed Tuesday (12/08/08)

 

Sudan and Japan will sign a grant agreement of $5.8 million to ward off communicable diseases in the country at the Federal Ministry of Health on Tuesday.

 
 
Federal Minister of Health, Dr. Thabita Boutros, will sign for the Sudanese side while the Japanese Ambassador to Sudan, Yuichi Ishii, will sign for his country, in presence of Representative of UNICEF which is considered as the partner with the Ministry of Health in implementing the programmes of the grant through the Primary Health Care programmes.
